Frequently Asked Questions

Why doesn't Skin Juice have night creams?

Traditional night creams are often rich in silicons and emulsifiers that sit on top of the skin. These ingredients block the skin’s healthy oil flow and inhibit the natural rebalancing and protective process of rebuilding our microbiome. We recommend using a face oil or balm instead that enables this process to occur.

Will plant oils make my skin oily or block my pores?

We use natural bio-compatible oils, which means that they actually allow the skin to breathe and function, including helping the skin to naturally balance oil production for a soft, fresh and clean glow. 

Why do you suggest 'pressing' oils onto the skin instead of massage?

Pressing the oil onto the skin allows it to penetrate deeper and more effectively verse massage which can 'wipe' the oils away. It also reduces friction or dragging the skin which can cause irritation and inflammation.

Can I use a face oil in the morning as well?

Yes if you feel you need a little extra nourishment, you can add a couple of drops of face oil to the skin before applying your moisturiser.
