We’re often reminded that we need to aim to drink 8 cups of water a day to keep our bodies adequately hydrated. Over half of our body is made up of water and it is therefore essential to stay hydrated so that our body functions the way it should.
We lose a large amount of water each day, this can be simply from sitting in your air-conditioning or heating, physical activity or being out in the elements such as the sun and wind - and we need to replenish it.
